At March 17 sitting, the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs the Government submitted addenda to the Tax Code for investing more attractive system of law-abiding taxpayer and also strengthening the partnership between tax authority and taxpayer.

“Considering the fact that the law on Taxes in RA was passed for the first time on 19 April 1992 by which the tax system and its principles were formed, the tax authority and taxpayer relationship, it is proposed to establish Taxpayer’s Day on April 19,” the Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Edvard Hovhannisyan said. A number of activities to encourage taxpayer law-abiding behaviour is designed with the proposed addenda. The draft law was endorsed.
